A cookie is a small piece of text sent to your browser by a website you visit. It helps the website to remember information about your visit that can make your next visit easier and the site more useful to you. Cookies play an important role. Without them, using the web would be a much more frustrating experience.
We use cookies for four purposes:
- Required cookies:
- We use cookies to remember choices you have made.
- We use cookies to test changes to the application and track the extent to which users seem to prefer them, in a process called AB Testing.
- Optional cookies:
- We track usage of the application using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These use cookies. Tracking usage of the application helps us to better understand how people are using the site, which in turn enables us to make more targeted improvements.
- We may share data with Google Ads for marketing purposes.
- For users of the free version of the application, we use Google Adsense to recoup the costs of providing the service and Google Adsense uses cookies. Although not everyone likes advertising, it does enable us to continue to provide the free service tier for free. Cookies help Google to ensure the adverts that you do see are more likely to be relevant to your interests. Users of the premium version of the application won't see advertisements.

We also use ActiveCampaign to track your use of the site in order to better personalise our communications with you.
You cannot use the site without the required cookies. We will only use the optional cookies and ActiveCampaign tracking if you provide us with your explicit and informed consent.
